This assesses the sharpness and integrity of the card's four corners.

10 (Pristine): Corners are razor-sharp and perfectly intact with no wear, blunting, or whiting.
9 (Excellent): Corners are exceptionally sharp. May have the most minor imperfection only visible under magnification.
7-8 (Very Good to Great): Corners are sharp to the naked eye. Slight blunting may be present but is very minimal.
5-6 (Good): Noticeable blunting or very slight wear on one or more corners. No major damage.
3-4 (Fair): Obvious rounding, whitening, or minor fraying on the corners.
1-2 (Poor): Significant rounding, major fraying, or material loss. Corners may be bent or creased.

This evaluates the condition of the card's perimeter, looking for imperfections like nicks, dings, and whitening.

10 (Pristine): Edges are perfectly smooth and clean. No imperfections, nicks, or whitening under any inspection.
9 (Excellent): Edges are nearly perfect. May have a minuscule flaw only detectable under magnification.
7-8 (Very Good to Great): Edges are clean with only the most minor, isolated specks of whitening or a tiny nick.
5-6 (Good): Some visible edge wear, such as slight whitening along the edge or a few small nicks.
3-4 (Fair): Obvious whitening along the edges or multiple noticeable nicks and imperfections.
1-2 (Poor): Heavy edge wear, significant whitening, chipping, or gouges along the edges.

This measures how evenly the card's image is positioned within its borders. We use precise measurement tools to determine the ratio between the left/right and top/bottom borders.

10 60/40 to 55/45 on both the front and back. Appears perfectly centered to the naked eye.
9 65/35 to 60/40 or better. Near-perfect centering. Any imperfection is minuscule and requires precise measurement to detect.
7-8 (Very Good to Great): 70/30 to 65/35 or better. Slightly off-center, but the imbalance is not immediately obvious. Well within the acceptable range for high-grade cards.
5-6 (Good): 75/25 to 70/30 or better. Noticeably off-center, but not severe enough to be distracting.
3-4 (Fair): 80/20 to 75/25 or better. Clearly off-center, with one border being significantly wider than the other.
1-2 (Poor): 90/10 or worse. Severely off-center, potentially touching or breaking into the card's image.

This is a comprehensive evaluation of the card's front and back for flaws, including scratches, print defects, creases, stains, and gloss.

10 (Pristine): The surface is flawless. No scratches, print spots, or imperfections of any kind under direct light or magnification. Full original gloss.
9 (Excellent): A virtually perfect surface. May have an extremely minor print flaw or a faint scratch only visible under intense scrutiny.
7-8 (Very Good to Great): Clean surface with minor, faint scratches or a slight printing imperfection that does not detract from the overall eye appeal.
5-6 (Good): Visible surface wear, such as light scratches, minor scuffing, or a small, faint print defect.
3-4 (Fair): Obvious surface flaws, including multiple scratches, a visible crease (that does not break the surface on the other side), scuffing, or a noticeable printing defect.
1-2 (Poor): Heavy surface damage, including major scratches, multiple creases, stains, or significant loss of the original finish.
